Many of us  live our lives in fear. Afraid of success, afraid of speaking their truth, afraid of health issues, afraid of not fitting in and afraid to take control of their life.  This fear can take a more simple form: not wanting to changing our diet, daily habits and other lifestyle choices that no longer server our highest goals.

Living in fear can manifest in many ways in our lives, but commonly it is living in mis-alignment or living a life that does not support our divine purpose. More practically, symptoms can include: insomnia, endocrine system imbalances, constipation, nervous system issues, lack of focus, frustration with life path, indecisiveness, unhappy with life, anxiety, heart palpitations, shortness of breath. We can also be eating foods that don’t make us feel good and full of energy.

A lot of people think that everyone lives with at least some fear or has anxiety or stress issues. Ayurveda teaches us that this does not have to be true. It is our birthright to live a fulfilled, peaceful life, full of happiness and joy. But how do we get there? How do we manage stress? What tools do we need to succeed? First, we start having courage. We must have courage to want to change, courage to seek help and courage to want something better.

The opposite of fear is courage or bravery. Having the courage to live into our life purpose can be a daunting task for many. How do you discover what your dharma or divine purpose is in this life? How should you be living your life? Why are you here? How can you have a life where you are healthy, happy and complete?

Through the ancient healing system Ayurveda, the teachings are clear, organized and applicable to anyone’s life. In this 10-week course, Rekindling Courage with Ayurveda, I will help you discover balance, heath and the courage to take charge of your life. By living from a place of peace and calmness, you can really discover who you are and what your path to happiness should look like.

Each week, you will take part in a 1-hour class with me, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner Tresa Laferty. I will guide your group through this transformation of mind, body and spirit. (Group energy can provide a very powerful, supportive aspect to your ability to succeed.)

We will cover:

  • What a proper diet for YOU to achieve health balance
  • What lifestyle choices support YOUR goals
  • How to manage YOUR stress

These teaching will include dinacharya (daily routine), breath work, mantras, aromatherapy, herbal teas, Ayurvedic herbal remedies and much more.

You will build on the teachings each week and in 10 sessions, emerge transformed, as a person of balance, strength and COURAGE!

For each class, you will receive worksheets for the week, an audio recording of the teachings and access to a private Facebook group that has participants from both groups. Suggested teas, herbs, massage oils, essential oils will be available for purchase.

It is also ideal for those seeking direction in their life or desiring to find their purpose or divine path.

When and where are these sessions? You will have two times available. Thursday 11 am – 12noon and 6:30 – 7:30pm at the CATHE House in Burlington. It is also available on Monday from 6:30 – 7:30 at Bodywise Spa in Kenosha.
